The Mealbars™ consist of real natural food. The first Mealbar will consist of chicken, rice and mixed vegetables, fortified with micronutrients and probiotics.
We expect to launch the first version of the Mealbars™ by the summer of 2025. This minimum viable product (MVP) will be sellable in local markets (United States) to generate the first revenue, and this will act as the stepping stone before we officially launch and sell the product on the open market. This MVP will also act as a prototype to start partnering with B2B-clients and to apply for additional funding from outside investors and NGOs.
Once the product is officially launched, we first focus on the US market, and branch out to Europe and Asia as we grow. The US is a high income country and provides a big enough market of our target audience. Producing and selling in just one country limits the regulatory scrutiny around food in the early stages of the company. As the company grows and works towards full scale capacity, we expand to other markets and add more variations to the assortment, all while not overextending ourselves and maintaining sustainable growth.
Definitely! First we need to get to the MVP of course, and develop that into an established product. After that, we're aiming to create all sorts of bars, because we believe in the concept. You can think of Mini-bars (snacks), Double-bars (to share or bulk), Diet-bars (tailored for a specific diet), Progess-bars (to achieve goal), Dessert-bars (healthy treat), Space-bars (food for astronauts), Emergency-bars (food for disaster relief), etc.
